Children of the Valley

Peace Wadi is a farm 5kms from the King Hussein border crossing between Jordan and Palestine. They host international visitors in exchange for help on the property and to educate, and thereby build a bridge of peace to neighbouring Palestine.  Predominantly a date plantation for 30 years they are now introducing Permaculture practices to diversify and connect the systems (food forests, animals and the capture and storage of energy). Rachel stayed and developed a permaculture plan for the site.
